Nifty hovers around 10,400; PSU Bank index turns positive

Benchmark indices continued to be volatile, with the Nifty50 hovering around 10,400 levels.

Metals, technology and banking & financials stocks supported the market but Reliance Industries, ITC and ICICI Bank capped gains.

The 30-share BSE Sensex was up 87.88 points at 33,862.54 and the 50-share NSE Nifty gained 19.40 points at 10,397.80.
